Scheduling meetings and sessions with your clients is the lifeblood of the Profi platform. In this article, you'll learn how to invite people to sessions or meetings and schedule appointments using your booking link.
Note: Before you can schedule a client session, you'll need to [creating a service article].

Invite a Client to Your Individual Session
From your Calendar you can invite people to private video or audio sessions in Profi.
Select the Add button at the top of the Calendar.
Choose Session to invite a single client or Group Session to invite multiple clients.
Select your preferred client or invite your client to a group session.
Choose the service you would like to use, for example, an Individual 30-min session.
Select the Add session button to send your invitation.
1. Select the + Add button at the top of the Calendar.
2. Choose Session to invite a single client.
3. The individual Add session pop-up will display.
Here you can choose your client and the type of service to invite them to.
Note: To select a Service from the dropdown, you must create it first. Go to Services in the lefthand menu to [create a new session] or other services.
4. Select your preferred client from the dropdown.
5. Choose the service you would like to use.
For example, an Individual 30-min session.
6. Choose your session date, time and add any messaging.
10. Select the Add session button to send your session invitation.
Invite a Client to Your Group Session
From your Calendar you can invite people to private group video or audio sessions in Profi.
1. Select the + Add button at the top of the Calendar.
To invite people to private video or audio sessions through Profi, take the following steps to schedule your next session right from your Calendar:
Select the Add button at the top of the Calendar.
Choose Session to invite a single client or Group Session to invite multiple clients.
Select your preferred client or invite your client to a group session.
Choose the service you would like to use, for example, an Individual 30-min session.
Select the Add session button to send your invitation.

Receiving Appointments from Your Booking Link, Profile or Shared Session Link
In addition to inviting people to sessions, you can receive and accept booking requests in a number of convenient ways. Regardless of where you are, it's easy to accept appointments through Profi. Here are the steps for accepting an appointment:
Once a booking request is sent to you, you will receive a booking notification in your profile and email.
Accept the appointment by clicking accept in your calendar view or via your email notification.
Join the session through Profi to connect with others in the session.

Multiple Safe and Secure Meeting Options
Once you've scheduled a session or received an invitation to one, you can connect to the session through a variety of connections. Profi is compatible with many devices, including computers, smartphones, and tablets.
Best Practice: We recommend using a desktop or laptop computer with the latest version of your browser to join video sessions. This will help ensure that the program runs properly and that you don't experience any issues when communicating with clients through the software.
HIPAA-Compliant Sessions
We respect your clients' privacy, so each session connection in Profi is private. And session recording never happens without mutual agreement first.
Profi Tip: As a professional, always orient your client to the session by asking first if they agree to have their session recorded.
Profi sessions are always secure. We use 256-bit TLS encryption along with secure peer-to-peer video conferencing, going above and beyond the current 128-bit TLS encryption standard.
What Profi security means is that any data and communications shared during your sessions will stay between you your client(s) directly involved in the session.
Pre-call Testing
It's also possible to run a Pre-call Test to make sure audio and video connections are stable before beginning your session. And, we recommend you do this periodically to make sure you're prepared before entering the session.
